What: Run For Joe’s 5K, 1 Mile Walk, All About Kids Fun Run
Date: May 21st, 2011
Time: The Run For Joe’s 5K will start promptly at 8:30a.m. The 1 Mile Walk will start at 8:45 am and the All About Kids Fun Run will start at 9:45a.m.
Start/Finish Line: The Start and Finish will take place at the All About Kids Sports Center Located at 2531 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville, KY 40299.
The Course: The Run For Joe’s 5K will start at the All About Kids Sports Center. The course will exit the parking lot and take a right onto Capital Way. From there we will turn right on Blankenbaker Parkway and run through the Industrial Park. The course will turn into the Corporate Campus of Papa John’s International and then exit for a water stop! The course will finish back at the All About Kids Sports Center for the Kids Fun Run and after race festivities.

Age Groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,
55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over (separate divisions for male and female runners).
In addition, any child that participates in the All About Kids Fun Run will receive a medal for their participation. This race will be for kids ages 10 and under.
Safety: Race officials reserve the right to disqualify or remove any participant whose activity my be unsafe and pose a potential harm to himself/herself or any other participant. Please refrain from the following:
Awards: Each Run For Joe’s entry will receive a T-shirt for his/her participation in the Run For Joe’s 5K, 1 Mile Walk and the All About Kids Fun Run. You must register by May 9th to guarantee shirt size availability. In addition, the Run For Joe’s will present awards to the first three men and first three women finishers in each of the age groups listed above. Awards for the top three male and female finishers will be presented at 10:30 a.m. on race day. All absentees must pick up their awards at the All About Kids Sports Center after May 23rd, 2011.

Run For Joe’s 5K/1 Mile Walk
• Early Registration fee (online, walk in or mail in) if registered by May 2, 2011 is $25 for adults and $15 for kids ages 14 and under.
• Late Registration fee if registered after May 3rd, 2011 is $35 for adults and $20 for kids ages 14 and under.
• ALL mail-in entries are determined by postmark.
• All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
All About Kids Fun Run
• Early Registration fee (online, walk in or mail in) if registered by May 2, 2011 is $10 for kids ages 10 and under.
• Late Registration fee if registered after May 3rd, 2011 is $15 for kids ages 10 and under.
• ALL mail-in entries are determined by postmark.
• All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Please make entry fee payable to Run For Joe’s – Net proceeds will be donated to The St. Joseph Children’s Home.
Packet Pick Up: There will be Late Registration and Packet Pick-up on Friday, May 20th at the All About Kids Sports Center from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Packets may also be picked up at All About Kids Sports Center on Race Day, Saturday, May 21st, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
• Packets will not be mailed.
All About Kids Fun Run: The All About Kids Fun Run will take place in the All About Kids Sports Center parking lot following the Run For Joe’s 5K /1 Mile Walk.
The age groups and distances will be as follows:

Each child will receive an All About Kids Fun Run t-shirt and a participation medal! (You must register by May 9th to guarantee shirt size availability.)
Race Photography: LightSpeed Photography will offer race photos. They will take photos along the course and at the finish line. Following the event, you may purchase your photos at OrderYourPhotos.com.
Race Results: The official race results and photos will be posted at www.runforjoes.com at the end of Race Day.
Rachel was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in political science. Currently, she is pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Louisville. Her interests include exercising, sports, and spending time with family, friends, and my dogs. Rachel graduated high school at age 15. As a 16-year-old freshman in college, she had a literature review published in a college textbook. She is a former Mrs. Kentucky. In 2001, she signed a recording contract and had an album that was distributed and sold nationwide. She has also received numerous awards, accolades, and accomplishments in the political arena.
